I'm Ph.D. student at Technical University in Liberec at Faculty of Mechatronics Department of Aplied Informatics. I graduated with Master Degree in 2005. I has been Ph.D student since March 2005. The topic of my doctoral thesis is “Distributed Network Graphical Applications”.

Blender is 3D OpenSource modeling and animation program. Due to I was able to contribute to this project, when I worked at my thesis (pdf)(cz). My doctoral thesis will have benefit for Blender too.
Elephantsd Dream is first short animated movie released as OpenSource. This movie was created in Blender and other OpenSource programs like Gimp, Verse, etc.
Verse is network protocol for 2D a 3D applications. Development of Verse protocol is sponsored by Europe Union.
Key Status Monitor is small OpenSource program written in python. This program is useful for visualisation of presed kays and mouse button. It can be very handy, when you try to create some tutorial video. Origin author is Daniel G. Taylor. Jakub (jimmac) Steiner is author of icons for this app.
I'm member of expert group (cz) for OpenSource in OSS (cz) organization. OSS is organization supporting OpenSource in Czech Republic.
I'm member of prague.siggraph.org (it is czech chapter of ACM Siggraph).
